Books fort

As a part of India 2011 – NTNU, that took place last week in Trondheim, the Boyfriend and I along with some other friends went to an event that took place at the library with Indian music and dance. Surprisingly, I didn’t like the event all that much, although I do like Indian music and dance in general. What I did like was a playhouse/fort made of books!

What other material would be more suitable to make a playhouse/fort at the library out of? Books are perfect! And kids seemed to enjoy it a lot! I mean I would if I was their age. Lucky little kids!

Another thing that caught my eye were the paper ornaments and banners. If only I had a library like this one at my neighborhood..

Well, the main purpose of my visit (aka. Indian music and dance) didn’t go as well as I wanted it to go, but I had the opportunity to snap some pictures of the road. Man was it boring!

Have you been to an event that didn’t live up to your expectations recently?

ps1. That has nothing to do with this post but while we were in NYC in April, we stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel. During our stay, an episode of Bored to Death was being shooted near our room. Maybe New Yorkers don’t get so excited about these things, but I totally did, and waited to see that episode. Finally, I saw it yesterday! It’s the first episode of the third cycle. Haha!
