What happens in Basel

Last week I had a quick trip to Basel, Switzerland. Two days in -12°C. Ironically the weather was way colder than Trondheim, but that didn’t stop me from walking around the city. I had a weird feeling that I was playing in this video clip of Adele in Paris. Enjoy!

  2. I just returned from Basel as well. Great pictures. I can tell you were there during the cold snap. Our visit was during Fasnacht/Carnival.

  3. Reminded me of the time I had been there but it was during September. It’s strange seeing all those places I had walked along the river now covered in snow. Wonderful city though. So steeped in culture. How I wish I could go back. http://www.flickr.com/photos/shantesh/sets/72157607696022572/

    • Your photos are very beautiful. Looking at them, I wish I could go back too..

  4. Thanks for these shots of Basel. We cycled 100 km. to there (yes, I noticed the bikes in your latest post) from Freiburg, Germany. Our visit was very short, only around 3 hrs. since we took the train back the same day in summer 2010.

    It’s a patrician city.
