Earlier this year, a friend of mine got his first tattoo, a small black and white drawing on his back. He said he loves it more every day and thinks about getting a second one after the summer. He got me thinking about getting one too. I played with the idea and now I’m sure I want one too. I’m just not sure about what and where. So I searched and searched on the Internet and here’s what I loved most.

I think I’m going to end up with a small infinity symbol or treble clef on my little finger, but if I choose to go bolder, I’m definitely getting this.
An even simpler choice is the line on the finger.

/ May 11, 2012I’ve got a small dragonfly on my left foot… People ask what it means and my standard answer is that it doesn’t mean anything; it is just a permanent college memory! I’ve had it for over 12 years and I still like it. I also like that it can be covered for shown… it’s all about location!

/ June 19, 2012How funny! I’m addicted to the Tattoologist blog, I’ve been reading it for ages now! Most of my friends are tattooed, and I’m about to make the leap after a lot of consideration. I have about 5 different ideas floating around in my brain at the moment — my favourite, most-likely-to-come-true idea is an art nouveau inspired illustration. Think Alphonse Mucha. It’s the opposite of the beautiful minimalist tats you’ve just posted, but lush and gorgeous in its own way.
