Healthy snack: nuts and dried fruit

healthy-snack-nuts-01Lately, I try to eat as healthy as possible and that calls for some healthy snacks to eat in berween meals. I keep a small healthy snack box near my office with walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, dried figs and prunes that I refill every once in a while. It can last up to 2 weeks since I try not to replace my meal by eating the whole box at once. I also try to keep some fresh fruit and yogurt around at all times, although I prefer them as breakfast rather than a snack. What are your favorite healthy snacks?

ps. I would like to make these energy bars with chocolate and dried goji berries (recipe in Norwegian) sometime soon to change things up a bit.

  • I like eating dried fruits + nuts, but I also add some chocolate chips in the mix! 😉

  • I am usually going for fresh fruits like pineapple or grapes! Something that is naturally really sweet already. Fruit sugar is so much better than artificial sugar!!! But I think, I am giving the nuts and dried fruit idea a try…
