Wall stickers

I considered many different options for the wall behind the bed: wallpaper, a DIY headboard, paint. My favorite one was the wallpaper. However, there was no affordable option for removable wallpaper tiles available in Norway and all the options that could be ordered from abroad would have to go through customs. Then I had this other idea: wall stickers. At first I was against wall stickers, but then I thought why not. They are much more affordable and you can order many different design for next to nothing from eBay. I could at least give them a try and, if they didn’t work, then I had (almost) nothing to lose.

I decided to buy something to cover the part of the wall below the cabinets. I chose this design in brown and the smallest available size. Here’s how the bedroom looks like now.

They were easy and fast to install and completely removable. I love how different the room looks now. I can call it finished (for now)! Here’s how it looked like last year.

alcove I don’t know what I will do next in the house as this was the house related project in my to-do list for now. I have some plans for the future, but they are in much higher price points and require some more skill, so I haven’t decided to tackle any one of those yet. Do you like my bedroom?

ps. I am finally back home in Trondheim. Have a nice week!
