Trondheim is one of the best places for runners. There’s lots of motivation and plenty of nice places to run, but after three years I thought I’ve seen it all. Guess what? I was wrong…
A run in the mountains: Estenstadhytta
One day in May, a friend and I went for a run up in the hills of Trondheim. It’s amazing how after so many years I had never been to that place before, considering that it’s a short walk from the university where I studied Norwegian for two years. There’s much more to see to this area, as there is another larger lake close by, but this one was perfect for a short run. It was also very quiet, which is perfect for two Greeks who just wanted to shout at each other like we always do. Norway is a beauty, no?
A run in the fog
Another day in July, one of these fall days were it’s raining and then it’s warm, the river was covered with a thick layer of fog. It was the first time I saw it in Trondheim and you could see people taking photos along the river to document the rare sight. Isn’t it magical?
