So, bread, not my favorite thing. When it comes to toasts though, I make an exception. This is a his and hers edition of Jamie’s recipes.
His: Greek-style sandwich with avocado, feta and tomato
This was super simple to make and super healthy, because avocado. You just need some feta cheese, tomato and some avodato. What he said? “Not as good as the traditional ham and cheese toast. There’s a reason why it’s a classic. It’s OK for a change.” Will I make it again? Well, with this underwhelming review, no, I won’t be bothered!
Hers: Smoked salmon and egg sandwich
In theory this should be perfect. However, as you can see already in the photo, the egg white run out of the bread. Once I put it in our grill (the one that the top folds on top of the bottom), the yolk broke making a mess everywhere. It took 10 whole minutes for whatever egg was left inside the sandwich to be cooked. In the meantime, the salmon got overcooked for my taste. The whole thing was messy and it didn’t live up to my expectations. Will I make this again? No, not even if you pay me.
