Sunday :)

Yesterday was one of the best winter days I’ve had this year in Trondheim. I went to Byåsen, the forrest near Trondheim, for a short walk on the lake. That was one of the worst calls I’ve made in 2016 so far. A few meters away for the shore I stepped into a pool of really cold water, that soaked my boots. Apparently, it’s that time of the year when it’s safe to ski over the lake, but not walk. Good to know! The sun was shinning bright. The temperature was perfect. I had one of the best coffees with a stunning view. Such a lovely day in Trondheim! On top of that, we’ve had a huge amount of snow this year, making the whole neighbourhood look like a winter wonderland. Here are few photos I took. Enjoy!

  • Ahhh looks just like Tromso! I love March and April in Norway the most cause you still have lots of snow but finally some sunshine too. It’s just the best 🙂

    • I know! I love that winter/spring light! It’s still cold, but I don’t care as long as we get the sun!

  • Wow, beautiful photos! Where I live, people are so unaccustomed to snow that just a few centimeters of it keeps people from going to work. The city basically shuts down when it snows. I like to see how other people live with more winter weather.

    • We’ve had so much snow this winter. It went from no snow to 1 meter in a few hours. I was shocked, but everything was running normally. I guess they know how to deal with it. It’s so perfect!

  • So beautiful! Snow brightens up winter so much 🙂
