Jamie’s mushroom farfalle (or fusilli…)

Pasta and I are not best friends. There are some recipes I can’t resist and others that I don’t really care about. This one is an example of the later.

The sauce that accompanies the pasta is a simple mushroom sauce. Now, usually I am not the one who likes using heavy cream, but in this case it would have been much better. Jamie suggests using cottage cheese instead, which, in my opinion, doesn’t work at all. I have also used cottage cheese in many other occasions instead of heavy cream and it is worth a try as a healthier alternative, but not this time.

The salad was a simple spinach, walnut and blue cheese salad, which is what I make most days anyway. It is good and simple for everyday, it is extremely healthy and light and it’s a bit hit.

All in all, I’ll say yes to the salad and no to the pasta. Will I make this again? Nope, no, no.
