There’s nothing Norwegian in Jamie’s book, but the closest thing you can find is a Swedish meatball recipe.
Before I came to Norway, I had never heard of rutabaga. During one of those group lunches at work, on my first year in Norway, a colleague of mine brought one to work and I asked what that thing was. It was one of the cheapest, local things you could buy and as I learned, a very nutritional healthy root. Jamie suggests a very nice way of serving it with rice and meatballs and I approve.
Will I make this again? Yes, I live in the land of rutabaga, I have to.
